The U12 boys USC Trojans have an incredible record to show this season:
Realistically this team should have been playing in the CSL this year, but were prevented from doing so by OSA bylaws.
Because of that there was no match in their TSA division and this resulted in mostly very lobsided wins for the Trojans.
The boys deservedly won the league and also clinched the Cup trophy at the season's end, September 16.

This makes the Trojans the first USC team ever to win the League, without any losses, and the TSA Cup in one season

Boys:
The United SC
Trojans U12 continued their winning romp in the TDYSL. This week, in their second game this season, they destroyed SwanSea 17-1 at home.
Meanwhile, also in the TDYSL, the United SC
96ers U11 stepped up their game and collected three points blanketing Mooredale 7-0 at home. This was a much needed win for the boys after their disappointing start into the season.
The USC
Lions, U12 were not active in competition this week, since Ajax closed their fields because of heavy rain. This game will be re-played. The Lions are in the Ontario Cup, first round, this weekend, trying to shake their scoring woes.
Our youngest team, the United SC Lions
U7 Select, travelled to Unionville this weekend for their first ever tournament and competitive games. The team was assembled 2 weeks ago after a succesful try-out.
Girls:
The USC
Phoenix U16 could not fly with one wing and capitalized on 3 defensive mistakes to falter 3-1 to lowly East York. This game should have been a clear victory, at least on paper, but it was not the Phoenix's day. The Phoenix dominated the East Yorkers for most of the game, especially in the second half, but no goals rewarded their effort. June 2/07
USC ACADEMY records win at first SAAC Inter Academy League game at CDS
The newly assembled group of players played with confidence and left 1v1 Academy standing still. It was a beautiful morning, even though rain was in the forecast. The game itself was lobsided but provided a welcome training tool to fine tune tasks and skills of individual players.

Phoenix fly high on home opener
Simcoe started the game quickly and were the first on the score board in the 15th minute. United answered with a quick solo effort by Lauren who scored from the right side of the box to tie the score. After the intervall, Anna moved up and prepared the go-ahead goal with a pass to Lauren who hit the post from 20 yards out. Alex combined with the rebound and placed the ball in the net past a scrambling keeper. From here on it looked as if the Phoenix had gained control of the game, but a tough play in the box had Emilie on the ground, in the penalty box, after a clear push in the back and Simcoe pushed the ball in the net. The referee ignored this clear foul and pointed to the centre of the field: 2-2. The Phoenix were detrmined to make their home opener a positive one and pressed forward. Heather finally beat the Simcoe keeper on a fine solo run for the game winner: Phoenix 3, Simcoe 2.

Trojans 6, Karpaty 0.
May 29/07
U12 Lions opened at home with a loss to Pickering Tigers. The effect of not finishing in the box was evident as the Tigers mauled the Lions 4-1. This was the same team that defeated the Lions in the Little World Cup Finals.

Rep program under way
United's U11, U12 and U16 teams started the season in their respective leagues this week.
The U11 96ers boys recorded a home defeat at St. Andrews on Thursday, May 24. This was their first TDYSL game playing 11 a side, but the coach saw positive signs that his team was coming together. The visitors, West End United, won this game 3-1.
The U12 Lions boys also recorded a loss, away to the Azzuri, Tuesday, May 22.
While this was a rough game at Esther Shiner Stadium, the Lions were not outplayed in their CSL debut. The 1-0 result was not a true reflection of the game. The Lions are now looking to make an impression in the 'Little World Cup' which is held this weekend at Esther Shiner Stadium.

At the time of this report news is in that they lost to 'Pickering A' 2-1 in the morning and trashed the 'Pickering Demons 5-1' in their second game.
The U16 Phoenix girls travelled to Newmarket for their opening game in the CGSL. Traffic played havoc with the team and players arrived late, some shortly before kickoff time. In spite of the unwanted handicap the girls managed to play a controlled game which ended in a 5-1 rout of the home team. The girls seem to come together nicely and we should see more games like that in the future.
The U12 Trojans boys will have their premiere next week, when they play away at Karpaty, Wednesday, May 30.
March 2/07.
After 4 seasons of playing as North Toronto Nitros the team has now officially transferred to the United SC.
Increased unhappiness with the club finally caught up with the parents and players and when the decision came to make the move, it was almost a natural one.
The USC Academy will continue to provide training and guidance for the team.
The United Soccer Club is thrilled to have the girls play under their crest and will support the players so they can continue on their path to excellence.

With his performance the team earned a promotion to the Premier Division.
