The U9 USC Phoenix consists of a unique group of girls. All of them are highly motivated. While some of them also participate in the SAAC Development League where they compete in the U8 and U10 divisions, their current focus is definitely set on winning the YDSL Title in their age group.
This team always welcomes like-minded and like-skilled players to their midst.

USC PHOENIX U9 GIRLS HAVE STRONG SEASON OPENER
USC's Phoenix girls had excellent results in their first tournament together, working hard to get to the finals of the COVI (City of Vaughan) event. After a tough opening game loss against Bolton, the girls battled back to win their next three games, shutting out their York Region opponents with scores of 3 - 0 (vs. Glen Shields), 5 - 0 (vs. Woodbridge) and a semi-final win against Markham Lightning (3-0). Taking to the pitch in searing 33 degree weather in the final against Bolton, the girls gave up an early goal. They continued to fight hard, with excellent passing and shooting, to tie the game up by the end of regulation time, unfortunately losing in sudden death overtime. With this terrific start, USC Phoenix looks forward to a fantastic season as they head into regular TSA play.
