House league coaches must participate in 3 coaches' clinics prior to the season.
These sessions will prepare the coaches for the specific demands of the United Soccer Club and how to deal with game, training and parent situations.
The prospect must have a passion for soccer and the desire to teach children the basics of the sport.
While a Community Coaching Certificate is welcome, it is not mandatory.
Of course we encourage all volunteers to take OSA Coaching Certification Courses. USC will cover part of the cost.
A brief interview with the Technical Director is required. Coaches must have a minimum Youth Certificate, a Senior Certificate is prefered.
A 'Vulnerable Sector' Police Check is mandatory.
The prospect must have good knowledge of the Long Term Player Development program and the United SC Philosophy.
It is expected that a coach will sign a coaching application and acknowledge the Code of Conduct for team officials.
A coach must work within the rules and regulations of the United SC.
A coach must commit to run a minimum of 2 training sessions and manage one game per week.
